Save Britain Money team up with Ospreys

New commercial partnership confirmed

Ospreys Rugby are pleased to announce it has signed a new commercial agreement with Save Britain Money – the Swansea business that has gained national fame in recent months as the subject of a BBC3 fly-on-the-wall documentary.

The deal will see the business’s branding appear on the Ospreys shirt for the 2013/14 season with the business also becoming an official partner of the Ospreys Schools Programme.

Neville Wilshire, the founder and chief executive of the Save Britain Money Group, became an overnight sensation when the BBC series ‘The Call Centre’ first aired in June, his energetic and maverick management style earning him recognition throughout the UK.

Mr Wilshire said:

“We are very excited to become part of the Ospreys family as we share a common goal of delivering world-class performance from local talent.

“We serve our local area as well as the rest of the UK just as the Ospreys serve rugby fans nationwide whether playing at home or away.

“We are especially looking forward to becoming an official partner of the Ospreys Schools Programme. It’s a fantastic initiative helping children in our locality to develop important personal and scholastic skills.”

Yarnie Guthrie, Commercial Manager at the Ospreys, added:

“We are thrilled to be establishing a relationship with what is rapidly becoming one of the area’s best known businesses. They are a major employer in our region, and as such are a great fit for Ospreys Rugby.

“The television series has obviously been a big hit, focusing on the more entertaining aspects of day-to-day operations, but behind the fun and frivolity lies a hugely successful business, a company which has won many national awards, features in the 2013 Fast Growth 50, was the highest placed Welsh company in the Sunday Times Fastest Growing UK Firms list and was also listed second best company to work for in the UK by Sunday Times.

“Save Britain Money has a great work ethic and is completely committed to securing long-term deep-rooted relationships in the local community – just as we are.

“As a result, this commercial partnership should benefit both businesses long term. We look forward to working with Save Britain Money to further cement our presence in the local community.”
