Supporters planning on coming to the Liberty Stadium this Sunday for the derby against Cardiff Blues who have yet to buy their tickets are being encouraged to buy online and print at home.
Following the appointment of Ticketmaster UK as official ticketing partner of the Liberty Stadium this summer, the new hi-tech system gives supporters the option of printing off their match tickets in the comfort of their own home, allowing them to save time and avoid the inevitable match day queues at the Ticket Office.
With bar code scanning entry at the turnstiles, the whole experience provides a much improved and more flexible supporter experience, from the time of purchase right the way through to the first blow of the ref’s whistle.
With the Ospreys preparing to welcome the biggest crowd of the season to date on Sunday, Yarnie Guthrie, Ospreys Commercial Manager, urged anyone still to buy their tickets to take advantage of the new technology available.
“Print at home is the easiest, most cost efficient and stress free way of buying tickets for an Ospreys home game. You just need to visit the Ospreys website, select the right option, print, and you are good to go. There’s no hidden cost, no queuing and no waiting for tickets to be delivered.
“The Cardiff Blues game is traditionally the fixture in the season where we have the greatest walk-up crowd of the season so, with a fine day forecast for Sunday and our positive start to the season, we are anticipating a busy day at the Ticket Office. Print at home will allow you to get a head start on Sunday and go straight through the turnstile, hassle free.”
Tickets for Sunday’s game cost £20 for adults, £15 concessions and £5 U16s in standard areas, or £25/£20/£15 in premium seating.
If you select the print at home option, only one ticket per transaction will gain you entry. Multiple prints from one transaction will be rejected. For example, if you bought one ticket, then you should print one barcoded ticket. Printing more than one barcode for the purchase of one ticket will mean the additional barcodes will be rejected. This will also slow down access for your fellow supporters.
If you barcode is faded or damaged on printing, then please go to the ticket office in advance and as early as possible to request a re-issued ticket. All ticket queries should also be made at the ticket office as early as possible.
You are also advised to bring ID if you have a concession ticket.
