Matavesi retains starting place

Fiji face Samoa in the final of the 2015 Pacific Nations Cup later today with Josh Matavesi once again set to pull the strings in the number 10 shirt.

Having been restricted to two cameo appearances off the bench in the opening two rounds, the Osprey got the nod to start at fly-half last time out and he put in a man-of-the-match performance, scoring 17 points as Fiji booked their place in the final with a win over Japan last Wednesday.

Former Osprey, Tevita Cavubati, is again named in the Fijian second row.

Meanwhile, Canada make 12 changes for their game against the USA. Jeff Hassler returns on the wing after missing Wednesday’s defeat to Samoa, but Tyler Ardron is sidelined through a knee injury, details of which are still to be confirmed by Rugby Canada.
