First Time Fan Guide
The Ospreys are a Welsh Rugby Club formed from traditional rivals Neath and Swansea, representing the region affectionately known as Ospreylia. They currently play at the Swansea.com Stadium.
What's the Competition?
The Ospreys play in the United Rugby Championship (the league), as well as the EPCR Challenge Cup.
The United Rugby Championship is a global club rugby league where 16 teams from five powerhouse rugby nations compete across two hemispheres to become the URC champion. The URC is made up of four teams from Ireland, four from South Africa, four from Wales, two from Italy and two from Scotland.
Within the league we also compete with the other Welsh teams, Cardiff, Dragons and Scarlets, to lift the URC Welsh Shield, crowning the best region in Wales at the end of each domestic season.
The Challenge Cup is the 2nd division of the European Cup competition, pitching quality teams from across Europe against each other. It culminates annually with a destination final combined with the Champions Cup final, delivering a quality weekend of Championship rugby.
