The Heineken Champions Cup fixtures have been announced and Ospreys first game of the tournament will be at home game against Gallagher Premiership winners, Leicester Tigers on the weekend of 9/10/11 December.
After the Ospreys opening home game at Swansea.com Stadium against Leicester Tigers, they will travel to France to face Montpellier Hérault Rugby the following weekend, 17/18/19 December at GGL Stadium. The TOP 14 winners will then come over for Ospreys second home game on 14/15/16 January. Their final round fixture, before play-offs, will see them head to Mattioli Woods Welford Road to play Leicester Tigers on 20/21/22 January.
Ospreys qualified for the Heineken Champions Cup when they finished top of the Welsh shield in the inaugural 2021/21 United Rugby Championship tournament, winning 5 out of their 6 Welsh derbies.
The new and improved 2022/23 Heineken Champions Cup tournament format will be played over eight weekends with four rounds of matches in the pool stages, followed a Round 16 knockout stage, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
