Senior men’s head coach Matt Sherratt has named the Wales team to play Scotland in the fourth round of the 2025 Guinness Six Nations at Scottish Gas Murrayfield, Edinburgh on Saturday 8 March (KO 16.45h GMT, live on BBC and S4C).
The starting line-up is unchanged from the third-round home encounter against Ireland two weeks ago, seeing Jac Morgan continue as captain.
Captain Jac Morgan starts at blindside flanker, Tommy Reffell is at openside flanker and Taulupe Faletau completes the back row at No. 8.
In the front row Nicky Smith is selected at loosehead prop, Elliot Dee is at hooker and WillGriff John is tighthead prop for the match.
Will Rowlands and Dafydd Jenkins continue their partnership in the second row.
Tomos Williams is named at scrum-half. Gareth Anscombe is named at fly-half.
Ben Thomas partners Max Llewellyn in the midfield.
Tom Rogers joins Ellis Mee, who made his Wales debut last time out, on the wing, while Blair Murray completes the starting XV at fullback.
There are two changes among the replacements: hooker Dewi Lake is in-line to make his first Guinness Six Nations appearance for Wales since 2022. Tighthead prop Keiron Assiratti also returns to the match-day 23.
Gareth Thomas, Teddy Williams and Aaron Wainwright provide the remaining forward cover.
Rhodri Williams, Jarrod Evans and Joe Roberts are the replacement backs for the second match in succession.
Sherratt said: “This week we’ve challenged ourselves to keep improving. We want to keep the same intent and bravery as we showed last time out, but making sure that we are building on our game.
“We’re excited for the challenge of playing Scotland in Edinburgh and can’t wait to get out there on Saturday.”

Mae Prif Hyfforddwr Cymru, Matt Sherratt wedi enwi ei dîm i herio’r Alban ym mhedwaredd rownd o gemau Pencampwriaeth Chwe Gwlad Guinness 2025 ddydd Sadwrn yr 8fed o Fawrth, (16.45pm yn fyw ar S4C a’r BBC).
Bydd y pymtheg chwaraewr ddechreuodd yn erbyn Iwerddon bythefnos yn ôl yn dechrau unwaith eto ym Murrayfield y penwythnos hwn.
Jac Morgan fydd yn arwain y tîm o safle’r blaenasgellwr ochr dywyll gyda’r wythwr Taulupe Faletau a Tommy Reffell yn cwblhau’r rheng ôl.
Y prop pen rhydd Nicky Smith, y bachwr Elliot Dee a’r prop pen tynn WillGriff John sydd wedi eu dewis yn y rheng flaen unwaith eto.
Felly hefyd Will Rowlands a Dafydd Jenkins yn yr ail reng.
Tomos Williams fydd yn gwisgo’r crys rhif 9 a Gareth Anscombe fydd yn bartner iddo fel maswr.
Parhau mae partneriaeth Ben Thomas a Max Llewellyn yng nghanol y cae yn ogystal.
Mae Ellis Mee, enillodd ei gap cyntaf yn erbyn y Gwyddelod yn cadw ei le ar un asgell – Tom Rogers fydd ar yr asgell arall a Blair Murray fydd yn gefnwr unwaith yn rhagor.
Mae dau newid ar y fainc. Un o’r rheiny yw Dewi Lake – fydd yn gwneud ei ymddangosiad cyntaf ym Mhencampwriaeth y Chwe Gwlad ers 2022 – gan i anafiadau ei atal rhag cymryd rhan yn ystod y ddau dymor diwethaf. Mae’r prop pen tynn Keiron Assiratti’n dychwelyd i’r garfan ar gyfer y gêm hefyd.
Gareth Thomas, Teddy Williams ac Aaron Wainwright fydd yn cynnig yr opsiynau o’r fainc o safbwynt yr wyth blaen.
O safbwynt yr olwyr - Rhodri Williams, Jarrod Evans a Joe Roberts fydd y gobeithio cael eu cyfle fel eilyddion am yr ail gêm o’r bron.
Dywedodd Matt Sherratt said: “Ry’n ni wedi bod yn herio’r garfan i barhau i wella’r wythnos hon. Mae’n rhaid i ni gadw’r un dwyster a’r dewrder ddangoson ni’n erbyn Iwerddon – ond gwella ymhellach ar hynny hefyd.
“Ry’n ni gyd yn gyffrous am chwarae’r Alban yng Nghaeredin ac ‘ry’n ni gyd yn awchu am y chwiban gyntaf ddydd Sadwrn.”
