As we welcome Benetton to the Swansea.com Stadium in our next BKT URC fixture, we looked at our opposition to prepare you for the game.
Benetton have enjoyed a strong start to their season so far, sitting 10th in the BKT URC currently. The Italian team picked up some big results in January, including wins over Ulster, Stade Francais and Bayonne.
Benetton have lost their last two matches, including one to Munster at home and an away loss to Cardiff last time out.
Fitting in with their open playstyle, Benetton have not used the maul as much as the other teams in the league this year. They have had the fewest mauls (64) and made the fewest maul metres (136) this season.
Away form hasn’t been a standout area for Benetton this year. They have won just one of their last 11 away games in the URC and conceded 30 or more points in each of their last eight trips outside of Italy.
