This week we welcome Benetton Rugby to the Swansea.com Stadium for a huge fixture in our BKT URC campaign.
Benetton are where they are in the table by no fluke, they play a very expansive game, similarly to Italy’s national team.
Italian rugby has changed a lot in the time I’ve been at Ospreys. Benetton are an expressive team that like to play and move the ball.
If you don’t defend well against them and are unable to control their set piece, you’re in for a fatiguing afternoon, let alone a busy one.
From now until the end of the season, every game is important and we’re running out of games, so we have to make sure we perform to the standards we set ourselves
We know we weren’t good enough against Munster, it was an uncharacteristic performance. The players have put the work in this week and we’ll be looking for a much better performance.
We’ll need your backing from the stands to get behind the boys and give them an extra boost in what will be a tough game.
