Despite leading twice during the game, the Ospreys West couldn't hold out a late surge by the home side who scored three unanswered tries in the last 25 minutes
It was another good start for the Ospreys West Under 16'slast night. Away to the Blues South at Cardiff Arms Park there was just three minutes on the clock when they scored their first try. Iwan Richards raced over the try line before Josh Thomas added the conversion.
The visitors then led until the second quarter when two converted tries came in quick succession for the Blues. However the Ospreys West were soon able to bring it back to within two points as Harry Evans crossed for their second try of the evening. The missed conversion the only difference at half time.
Sean Collins gave the Ospreys West a narrow lead early in the second half with an unconverted try but with 25 minutes left to play it started to go downhill for the visitors. Iwan Shenton was yellow carded and the Blues were straight over for a converted try. In the final five minutes of play two more converted tries followed for the Blues South, giving them a healthy margin at the whistle.
