November 1st 2006 is a date forever etched in history and you can join the Ospreys to celebrate a decade since the region’s famous win over the touring Australians at the Liberty Stadium.
It was on that date that an Ospreys team led by Paul James defeated the Wallabies in front of a 20,520 capacity crowd at the stadium.
The first ever Ospreys centurion, Barry Williams, scored his team’s opening try, with Richard Mustoe touching down for a crucial second to seal the game in the closing five minutes, while Shaun Connor, who became the region’s second centurion on his final appearance for the Ospreys, kicked 14 points.
Now, 10 years on, members of the squad that recorded that historic success are coming together at the Clayton Hotel, Cardiff, on Saturday 5th November, for a special celebration event ahead of the international clash at the Principality Stadium between Wales and the Wallabies.
With return transport from Swansea to Cardiff included, the event kicks off at 12.30pm in Cardiff with a three-course lunch, and a Q&A with Ospreys legends, sharing their recollections of that incredible evening that will never be forgotten.
The package for the day, priced at £129 per person plus VAT, includes all-inclusive drinks and, after watching the international on the big screen, post-match nibbles.
