Hundreds of young rugby players from clubs the length and breadth of Ospreylia enjoyed a fun packed afternoon at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday.
Clubs represented at the Ospreys v Cardiff Blues PRO12 derby clash were:
Bridgend Sports, Bonymaen RFC, South Gower RFC, Penlan RFC, Aberavon Green Stars, Porthcawl, Maesteg Celtic, Gorseinon, Pontarddulais,Tonmawr and Ystradgynlais.
The youngsters took part in a variety of activities pre-match and half-time, including laps of honour, flag bearing, tag rugby and even getting a pitchside glimpse of the team’s preparations during the pre-match warm up, as the Ospreys launched their new matchday experience programme.
They also enjoyed a great afternoon of rugby, with the Ospreys enjoying their 16th consecutive PRO12 derby victory, playing their part in a crowd of almost 11,000 to cheer their region to the win.
