Following the successful launch of the 2014/15 BLK Ospreys home jersey at the Liberty Stadium last Friday, we can now confirm that the countdown for the reveal of the new away jersey is underway.
Today we are revealing the first piece of the jigsaw to allow you a glimpse of the new-look away shirt.
Another piece will be revealed via our social media channels on Facebook and Twitter at 5pm every day between now and next Thursday, when the full jersey will be unveiled just over an hour before the team wear it in battle for the first time, against Saracens at the HAC in London. It will then be exclusively available to pre-order online from 5pm on Thursday 21st August with delivery anticipated in early September.
The away jersey for the season will be the first to feature the logo of commercial partners OSTC FX.
OSTC were confirmed as the official foreign exchange partner of Ospreys Rugby in the summer of 2013, with the logo featuring on the left sleeve of the jersey during the season just ended.
That relationship has grown, with the company now providing services to all parties within the Liberty Stadium, and OSTC upgrading their sponsorship to feature as main sponsor on the front of the away jersey as well as taking up secondary positions on the front and back of the home shirt.
Established in 1999, OSTC now has 15 international offices employing almost 500 staff in territories as diverse as Canada, Spain, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Turkey and India. It’s largest office is in Swansea, with 70 staff employed in the SA1 development.
In 2013 OSTC received the Ruban D'Honneur at the European Business Awards as one of the top 10 companies in Europe with a turnover of £26m-£150m.
OSTC will be working alongside the Ospreys’ new initiatives outside of Wales such as the London Ospreys, European sister club development and UAE grassroots sporting activity.
Supporters who have been disappointed to miss out on certain sizes of the home shirt, including child jerseys, should also note that we will be taking order of a second batch of home jerseys next week and we will announce via the website when the new stock is instore and available to purchase. Please note that due to delays in the supply chain ahead of the launch, the priority with child sizes was to ensure Kids Plus members who had pre-paid were able to receive their new jersey. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
