A new era begins this weekend when the Ospreys welcome Benetton Treviso to the Liberty Stadium for the region’s first ever game in the European Rugby Champions Cup.
The new competition, with a reduction in competing teams leading to more competitive pools across the tournament, promises excitement, thrills and spills all the way, with the Ospreys also drawn in Pool 5 alongside 2013/14 Aviva Premiership champions and current league leaders, Northampton Saints, and French side Racing Metro.
First up, in Round One, is a home game against familiar foes in PRO12 rivals Benetton Treviso, kicking off at 1.00pm on Sunday.
After last weekend’s derby day victory against the Blues at the Liberty, in front of a vociferous 10,000+ crowd, the Ospreys are again calling on supporters to get behind the cause and make that important difference on matchday.
Tickets for the game are on sale now from the Liberty Stadium Ticket Office, via the Ticket Hotline on 0844 815 6665, or you can buy online at www.ospreysrugby.com/buytickets with the option to print at home and beat the matchday queues.
Alternatively, you can now buy a four game flexi-ticket, which allows you to watch four games for the price of three in standard seating – and you can pick any four games you want!
