The Ospreys announced today that Evardi Boshoff will rejoin the team from the Toyota Cheetahs from October for the remainder of the 24/25 season.
The news follows on from the Ospreys’ recent announcement that Daniel Kasende would be joining the team on completion of the current Currie Cup season.
Boshoff played an important role in the Ospreys late push for the playoffs last season and will be hoping to build on his seven appearances for the side.
Speaking about his impending arrival, Boshoff said: “I’m looking forward to returning to the Ospreys, the players and coaches made me feel very welcome last season, even though I only spent a few months with the team.
“This time I’ll be going back to the club with a bit more familiarity so I’m hoping to hit the ground running when I’m back in Wales and contributing in whatever way I can.”
Head Coach, Toby Booth, said: “We are really happy to have Evardi rejoining the team in October. He found himself in the starting lineup probably sooner than he expected to last year, due to a few injuries we had at centre, but he seized that opportunity well and made the most of it.
“With the addition of Phil (Cokanasiga) already, we have quality depth and some real healthy competition for our centre spots this season.”
With some exciting signings announced and some quality youngsters in their first senior season with the club, what better time to secure your Season Memberships for the 24/25 season?
