Ospreys in the Community, with thanks to the National Lottery Community Fund are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual who can inspire others to fulfill their potential to join our TACKLE team as an Employability Officer.
TACKLE engages, inspires and motivates disadvantaged young people in the Ospreys region to reach new goals. These programmes look to utilise the rugby club, it’s brand, professional players and the stadium, to deliver projects that give all young people involved the opportunity to fulfil their potential and play an active, positive role in society.
Reporting to and working with the Employability Co-Ordinator/Manager, the Employability Officer will be responsible for the delivery and organisation of a number of Employability based programmes.
The Employability Officer must have the ability to plan and deliver high quality sports and educational activities with young people who are at risk of becoming NEET and unemployed, combining your passion for rugby and sport with strong organisational, communication and administrative skills.
You must have the ability to engage positively and build relationships with challenging young people, and motivating them to remain engaged with Ospreys in the Community. You will also be expected to be able to communicate with a number of partners.
Applicant must hold a valid driving license and have access to a suitable vehicle.
