Floodlighting and Electrical services join as official Ospreys Partner

Ospreys Rugby is delighted to announce a partnership with well-known floodlighting solutions provider, Floodlighting and Electrical Services Ltd.

Based in South Wales, they have worked extensively across Welsh sports, joining as the official Floodlighting Partner of Ospreys in the 24/25 season.

Established in 1979, their industry-leading services have been provided to clubs, universities, schools, leisure centres, councils, sports stadiums, MUGA, and more.

In rugby, Floodlighting and Electrical Services Ltd are one of the preferred floodlighting suppliers for the Welsh Rugby Union, having completed floodlighting for teams throughout the WRU setup, as well as completing over 100 projects each year for rugby union clubs across the UK. Significantly, they have also completed work at our home stadium, the Swansea.com, where we will play our fixtures for the final time this season.

Speaking on the new partnership, Ospreys CEO, Lance Bradley, said: “We’re delighted to announce this partnership with Floodlighting and Electrical Services. It’s important to the Ospreys that we work closely with companies that not only reflect our values, but companies that can play an active role in our bright future as a club. With our move to St Helen’s on the horizon, we’re looking at creating and strengthening relationships with as many local businesses as we can, which in turn will help us to streamline the transition.”

Gareth Thomas, Managing Director at Floodlighting and Electrical Services Ltd, added: “This is an important partnership for us, and we are delighted to be working with the Ospreys during an extremely exciting period for the region. Our highly experienced team are dedicated to working with the Ospreys to ensure their new stadium and facilities are at the forefront of sustainability design. We are committed to providing industry-leading energy-efficient floodlighting performance to ensure an outstanding sporting experience for both players and spectators. With over 30 years of experience working with rugby clubs of all levels throughout Wales, this new partnership highlights our continued commitment to the WRU.”

The multi-year partnership will extend to our highly anticipated switch to a new stadium in 25/26, and we are delighted to be working closely with Welsh-based businesses as we enter this exciting new era here at Ospreys.
