Development centres aimed at girls U13 and U15 age-grades will open in Ospreylia during April.
The three centres at Bridgend, Neath and Swansea have been introduced to try and encourage the development of women's and girls rugby.Players will recieve weekly training sessions with three rounds of triangular fixtures before regional centres eventually play against one another in a Development Centre League.
The aim is to provide regular, quality coaching which will encourage player development into local U18 and senior club rugby.

Neath Vixens

Training at Llandarcy Academy of Sport, starting Wednesday 18th April 6-7pm with a taster session, before a full launch the following week on Tuesday 23rd, and then every Tuesday, 6-7pm.
Swansea Sirens

Training at Dunvent RFC, Monday Nights 6-7pm, starting 23rd April.

All three centres will be in regular contact with Lisa Jones, Ospreys Regional Womens Liasion, and feed the six OspreysWomens clubs : Neath Athletic, Nantyfyllon, Maesteg Celtic, Gorsenion and Pencoed.
Womens rugby as been extremely successful within the Ospreys Region this season, winning the Regional Senior Cup with 3/3 wins and the U18's winning 2/4 plus a convincing win against a Canadian touring side. The region has also providedfive senior internationals for this years Six Nations.
