Sam Kiley (pictured) will captain the Young Ospreys under 20's for the last time as he attempts to lift the trophy he won with the team last season when they take on the Blues tonight (Wednesday 10th).
Kiley who along with Nick Roberts, Jason Howells, James Pike, Alex Wilkins, Chris Morgan and Mark Breeze will bring the house down on their Young Ospreys career with their appearance in the Reebok Final at St Helens, Swansea. All players have been actively involved with the Young Ospreys since it's inception some four years ago and success tonight would certainly be a fitting reward for their committments. Kiley said, "I've learnt a great deal from a variety of coaches in my time with the Young Ospreys and that combined with being a part of the Osprey Academy, has certainly put me in good shape for what I hope will be a long and illustrious career in the professional game. To play my final game with them on my home ground at St Helens will also be doubly pleasing." Although the Blues have beaten the Young Ospreys twice this season Head Coach Garin Jenkins is quietly confident that his team can rise to the occasion. "We've managed to score good team tries this season and hopefully the wide spaces of the St Helens pitch will allow us the opporunity to play an expansive game. We will be deliberately trying to avoid getting into a forward battle with a heavier pack." Reebok Under 20 Final at St Helens, Swansea on Wednesday 10th January, Kick Off 7.15pm.
