Loosehead prop, Jordan Lay, has agreed a short term extension on his loan from Bristol Bears.
The Samoan international signed on a one-month loan to provide much needed cover as the Ospreys were without the four front line loose heads, they began the season with.
After the Guinness PRO14 took a three-week break, both Bristol Bears and the Ospreys agreed a short-term loan extension on both Lay and Ospreys hooker Sam Parry, who made the switch to the Premiership side the same time Lay arrived at the region.
Lay will be available for selection for this weekend’s game against the Dragons on Saturday afternoon, whilst Parry will look to feature in Bristol’s side to face Worcester Warriors on the weekend.
During his time at the Ospreys, the loosehead prop has started in the region’s last three games against Ulster, Munster and Connacht.
After this weekend’s game Lay will return to training with the Bristol Bears and turn his attentions back to the Gallagher Premiership. Sam Parry will report back to Llandarcy Academy of Sport for the rest of the season.
