The Ospreys will welcome old rivals Leicester Tigers to the Liberty Stadium next month to kick off a busy pre-season schedule of fixtures – and match tickets are on sale now.
The Aviva Premiership giants return to Ospreylia on Friday 12th August (7.15pm KO) for the first time since a 15-15 Heineken Cup draw in January 2013, the first leg of a pre-season double header that sees the two sides meet again at Welford Road two weeks later.
Tickets for the game are available to buy now priced £10 for adults, £8 for concessions and £2 for U16’s in standard seating (£15, £10 and £8 in premium seating). You can purchase them online, from the ticket office in person, or by calling on 0844 815 6665 (calls to this number cost 7p per minute plus your standard network rate). If you are a 2016/17 season member, this game is included in your package.
As well as playing a key part in both team’s preparation for the new season, the game also rounds off an eventful and fun packed day at the Liberty, with the launch of the new 2016/17 BLK/Ospreys kit confirmed for earlier in the day so make sure you join us for what should be a day to remember. An evening of rugby at Welford Road kicks off with a game between the Tigers and Nottingham at 5pm before our games gets underway at 7.45pm.
In between the two games against Leicester the Ospreys head to Belgium for a week long training camp, culminating in a fixture against the Belgian national team on Friday 19th August at 7.30pm (UK time).
