The Ospreys announced today that Luke Morgan has signed a new deal to remain with the team.
Morgan first joined the Ospreys in 2018 after a successful spell with Wales Sevens, scoring a monumental 131 tries in 202 games. He quickly established himself as an important player for the Ospreys, with his powerful running and lightning speed causing problems for opposition defences.
Since joining the Ospreys, he has scored 24 tries in 86 appearances, demonstrating his ability as a top-level winger.
A product of Bridgend Athletic RFC, Morgan has continued to impress with his performances on the pitch and positioned himself as an important part of the Ospreys' attacking game plan.
Morgan's new deal will be a significant boost for the Ospreys as they look to build for next season.
Speaking about his new deal, Morgan said: "I'm really happy to have signed a new deal with the Ospreys. This is a club with a proud history, and I'm excited to remain part of a squad that's looking to build something really special.
“I've loved my time here so far, and I'm looking forward to continuing to work hard and help the team wherever I can.”
Toby Booth, Head Coach for the Ospreys, had high praise for Morgan, saying:
"We're delighted that Luke has signed a new deal with us. He's a top player and we've been impressed with his performances on the pitch over the past few seasons.
“His speed and competitiveness make him a dangerous attacking player. He has the ability to change a game in an instant.
“We're building a squad of players who are hungry to succeed, and Luke definitely fits that bill.”
