Ospreys fans attending tomorrow's PRO12 game against Munster at the Liberty Stadium are in line for a serious Christmas treat, with Adam Jones meeting supporters in the Club Shop ahead of kick-off.
Jones, currently sidelined with a calf problem, will be helping staff to serve customers from 5.15pm, along with young prop Daniel Suter, and will no doubt take a little bit longer than normal to pack up all your Christmas goodies as he takes time out to sign autographs and pose for pictures with fans.
Meanwhile, there’ll be a festive theme to the Supporters Village, with Ozzie’s Grotto open for business from 4.30pm, two hours ahead of kick-off. In addition to the usual Ospreys themed inflatables and the giant slide, to help fans get into the Christmas mood there’ll be mince pies available, candy floss for the children, and a hog roast and bottle bar to keep the adults happy!
Post-match, the only place to be is the OSC Clubhouse in the Riverside Bar to the rear of the East Stand. For those yet to visit, the OSC have created a fantastic rugby destination with an old fashioned rugby club atmosphere – and when you pop in after the final whistle to dissect the game over a beer or two, you are guaranteed to pop into some of the Ospreys squad, who call over to meet the fans.
This Saturday will also see the OSC/Worthington’s Player of the Month handed over to the lucky winner, so make sure you try and get over after the game. It’s a family friendly environment so everybody is welcome, be it Ospreys or Munster supporters – so come along and enjoy the craic!
Tickets for the game are on sale now at www.ospreysrugby.com/buytickets, via the Ticket Hotline on 0844 815 6665and at the Liberty Stadium Ticket Office, right up until kick-off at 6.30pm.
Meanwhile, supporters are advised that the planned book signing at the Club Shop today, featuring Alun Wyn Jones, has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances and will be rearranged at a later date.
