Mercedes Benz of Swansea has reaffirmed its commitment to the Ospreys, agreeing to extend the long-standing commercial partnership which has been in place with the region since its inception in 2003.
They will continue as Official Vehicle Partner of the Ospreys for another two years, until the end of the 2015/16 season as well as powering the popular Ospreys Executive Club, the match day business destination at the Liberty Stadium, which continues to go from strength to strength
Yarnie Guthrie, Commercial Manager welcomed the announcement on the eve of the region’s return to the Liberty Stadium for their PRO12 clash with Connacht. He said:
“It is always extremely satisfying when we are able to announce details of a commercial partner extending its support of the Ospreys, particularly when it is someone like Mercedes Benz of Swansea who have been a fantastic, proactive partner all the way back to our very first season.
“As we continue to grow our business on and off the field it’s essential that we retain the support of local companies such as this, who are proud to be associated with us and who are at the heart of the local business community.
“Having Mercedes Benz on board for another two seasons is e, meeting all our vehicle needs as a business powering the Executive Club, where business meets rugby.”
Mike Onions, Business Development Manager, Mercedes Benz, Swansea, added:
“We are absolutely thrilled to be extending our partnership with the Ospreys for another two years, as Official Vehicle Partner and via our support of the Executive Club.
“It is a relationship that continues to go from strength to strength with both parties sharing strategic aims and working together to ensure we both stay ahead of the competition.”
