Are you a lively in a lineout or solid in a scrum? If so Bridgend School Meals wants to hear from you. They are calling on all rugby players under the age of 11 to enter an exciting new competition launched this week. The main prize is a place on the Osprey Easter rugby day camp in Bridgend, which runs from April 17th to 21st.
One lucky pupil will meet their Osprey heroes and receive 5 days of first class Welsh Rugby Union training in a fun and friendly environment. They will participate in educational diet & lifestyle theory and win Osprey merchandise. As if that wasn’t enough they will also receive tickets to an upcoming match.
The competition is open to all primary school boys and girls and club under-11s who aspire to being the next stars of Welsh rugby.
To be in with a chance all pupils have to do is log on to www.myschoollunch.co.uk/bridgend and enter the competition in Owain's online club. All entries will be drawn out on the 23rd of March with a special presentation to take place at the winning pupil’s school.
Norma Griffiths, Group Manager of Catering Services launched the competition saying, “Bridgend school meals are committed to promoting a fit and active lifestyle and this competition is a fun way to get children interested in healthy eating and getting active.”
