To celebrate the huge success of our Sporting Memories groups, we’re delighted to be hosting a “Question of Sport” Wellbeing event at the Ospreys home game on Saturday 4th December.
Hosted by award winning author David Brayley, 80 members of our groups will be in attendance to watch the event for a fun evening of reminiscence, physical activity, and socialising.
Ospreys Development Director Mike Ruddock and OitC Trustee Martyn Waygood will be heading up the teams where we’ll celebrate everything our sessions have achieved this year along with looking forward to our next steps and the future.
Service providers such as The Carers Centre, British heart foundation, Alzheimer’s society, Home Instead and representatives from the local authorities will be on hand to provide support and information.
Our Sporting Memories Project specifically target an ageing population, those living with dementia, their carers as well as those struggling with depression, loneliness and social exclusion. We provide the opportunity to chat, meet new friends and take part in new activities.
New members are always welcome to join our sessions
