The Ospreys U16's defeated Newport Gwent Dragons on Wednesday evening to make it eight wins from nine games this season, but the U18's are defeated on the road.
A solitary penalty from Josh White after just six minutes gave the Eyasses a 3-0 lead at the interval in the U16 game before Rhys Anderson crossed for the Dragons shortly after the break, Lloyd Rogers converting. The young Ospreys struck back in style, top try scorer Dafydd Howells twice touching down to add to his collection for the season, White converting both either side of another penalty to take the Eyasses into a 20-7 lead.
A late try from Keegan Bale, again converted by Rogers brought the Dragons back into it, but they were unable to overhaul the Eyasses, who clung on for a 20-14 win.
Meanwhile at Newbridge RFC, the Dragons secured a 15-11 victory, with the Ospreys points coming from a Sean McDonald Roberts try and two penalties from Sam Davies.
