Following a season which saw Ospreys defy the odds and make two quarter finals, there was plenty for the squad to celebrate as the they got together for their awards night on Sunday.
Here are your winners:
BTS (Behind the Scenes) Osprey of the season
On the field, the boys have been leaving it all out there, and that requires a seamless operation behind the scenes. This year’s Behind the Scenes Osprey of the season was awarded to Elliot Thomas, our Management Accountant. Elliot was unable to attend the awards, so colleague Ceri Pass (photographed) collected the award on his behalf.
Osprey of the Season
A wealth of young talent has flooded the Ospreys pathway this year, and that’s in no small part due to the consistent hard work of our Osprey of the Year, Gareth Walters, Development Pathway Manager.
Supporters’ Osprey of the Season
Wales u20’s sensation Morgan Morse has had a standout season, and has chimed with supporters as we develop our young squad. The future is bright and Morgan Morse embodies that.

Coaches’ Player
A product of the Ospreys pathway, since returning to the club, James Ratti has excelled and seamlessly immersed himself back into the environment. Called upon across the second and back row, he has stepped up when the squad need him most this season.
Players’ Player
Picking up his second award of the evening, and the one everyone player wants to win, James Ratti had a thrilling season, making coaches and players stand up and take notice as he was awarded the Players’ Player of the Season.
Speaking on the awards, Head Coach, Toby Booth, said: “The awards night was a great opportunity for us to sit back and reflect on what has been a positive season for the club.
"Our players, coaching staff, strength and conditioning team led by Simon Church, and our medical department under the guidance of Chris Towers, all put in a phenomenal effort this season. This dedication was clearly apparent in our performances.
“As has often been the case in recent seasons, we were proud to see a majority of this year's awards being won by products of our development pathway.
“It is a testament to what goes on behind the scenes at the club and was further cemented by Gareth Walters, our Development Pathway Manager, picking up Osprey of the Year. Our pathway continues to produce exceptional talents who not only excel on the field but also embody what it is to be an Osprey.”
After a strong season at Ospreys, Toby and the boys are already looking ahead to next season. Will you join them?
