The BKT URC announced the fixtures for the 24/25 season today, with the Ospreys opening their season with a trip to Rodney Parade for a Welsh derby against the Dragons.
The Swansea.com Stadium was a fortress for the boys this season, with the boys having an 83% win record at home which has seen them still in the running for the BKT URC Knockouts this season.
One of the key contributors to the Ospreys' strong form this season has been the breakout of some star youngsters into the first team and their commitment to the jersey. Ospreys’ second game will be their first home game of the season as they host the DHL Stormers, on Saturday 28th September who will be seeking revenge after the boys’ historic win in Cape Town this season.
The team then return to the road as they face Munster at the Virgin Media on Saturday 5th October and then play host to the Vodacom Bulls on Saturday 12th October.
It’s then Friday night lights for the Ospreys as they travel to Belfast to play Ulster at the Kinsman Stadium on the 18th of October. On Saturday the 26th, the Ospreys then face Edinburgh at home.
It’s then a brief break in the BKT URC fixtures before Round 7, that sees the Ospreys travel to Parma to face Zebre on Saturday 30th November.
The teams then head into their European competitions before the Ospreys return to BKT URC with the hugely anticipated West Wales Derby on Boxing Day. This one being played at Ospreys’ stomping ground.
The Ospreys then play their third Welsh derby of the season as they travel to the Arms Park on New Years Day to face Cardiff.
Benetton then make the trip to Wales for Round 10 on Friday 24th January, with the Ospreys next game also being home against Leinster on Valentines Day.
After consecutive home games, the boys travel to Scotland to face the Glasgow Warriors 1st March. Connacht then make the trip from Ireland to face the Ospreys on the 22nd of March.
In Round 14, the Ospreys travel over the Loughor Bridge to face the Scarlets for the second time. This season, Judgement Day falls much earlier, with the Ospreys facing Cardiff at the Principality Stadium on Saturday 19th April.
Round 15 sees the Ospreys’ third Welsh derby in successive weeks as they host the Dragons on Saturday 26th April.
The Ospreys finish the season with a trip to South Africa, facing the HollywoodBets Sharks and the Emirates Lions for Rounds 17 and 18.
