Since his appointment as Ospreys CEO, Lance Bradley has set his sights on re-engaging local businesses and offering them unique opportunities to partner with the club. The latest announcement from Bradley introduces an exciting new player sponsorship package which offers local businesses of all sizes, the chance to get their business name on the back of a player’s playing shirt.
The new player sponsorship package offers local businesses increased visibility by having their business’s logo on the back of their sponsored player’s playing shirt next season. Brand exposure on playing shirts usually comes at a high cost and is prohibitively expensive for most businesses. However, this new player sponsorship package enables businesses of all sizes, including SMEs, the opportunity to align themselves with the Ospreys at an affordable price. The package ranges from £5,000 to £13,000, depending on the player the business chooses to sponsor, and includes a player appearance and exclusive engagement opportunities with the club.
The Ospreys are in the midst of an exciting period where they are having a successful season on the pitch and off it. They are currently in contention for the BKT URC knock-outs, and made it to the EPCR Challenge Cup quarter-finals. The Ospreys are also currently looking for a new stadium, which would see them move to a more suitably sized home, offering a host of new benefits to the club and partners.
Ospreys CEO, Lance Bradley, said: “We are delighted to introduce this new player sponsorship package which allows businesses to directly partner with the club and our players while showcasing their brand to a passionate audience. This new package offers local businesses the opportunity to get close to us, and signal to people that they are close to us, through our most valuable asset, the playing shirt.
“We understand the importance of relationships with local businesses and I am confident our new player sponsorship package will not only excite local businesses, but help us to rebuild and get back in touch with them. To ensure most businesses have the opportunity to see their names on the playing field on our players’ shirts, we’ve purposely set them at an affordable price.”
The new player sponsorship packages have already proved extremely positive as A.T. Morgan and Son signed up to sponsor Jac Morgan for next season, even before the official launch of the package.
