The Ospreys announced today that hooker, Lewis Lloyd, had signed a new deal to remain with the club.
Emerging from the Ospreys academy, Lloyd made his debut against Connacht in this season’s BKT URC opener and has since made six appearances already for the team this season.
The hooker was a standout performer for Wales u20s in their recent RWC campaign and has made six appearances for them in total.
Head Coach, Toby Booth, commented: “It’s great that Lew has committed his future to the club. We’ve been really impressed with his development since the start of the season and believe he has only scratched the surface of his potential."
Lloyd added: “I am over the moon to sign this deal with the Ospreys. This club has been my home, and the support I've received from the coaches, teammates and fans has been incredible. I'm determined to work even harder and contribute to the team's success in the years to come."
The hooker is the latest re-signing amongst a plethora of young talent that have already committed their future to the Ospreys. The club remains focused on competing at the highest level, and with young, talented players like Lewis Lloyd staying with the side, the skies look bright for the Ospreys.
