The Ospreys announced today that they would be hosting an ‘Origin Series’ pre-season event, in which the team will be facing off against three SRC clubs, Aberavon Rugby Club, Bridgend Ravens and Swansea RFC.
The Origin Series will take place on the 31st of August at the Swansea.com Stadium, with the first game kicking off at 3pm. The Ospreys will play against each of the teams in three 30-minute slots, with a 10-minute gap between each.
Supporters attending the Origin Series will have the chance to witness their favourite Ospreys players go head-to-head against some of the best local teams in the Ospreys’ area.
This also will be the first chance for supporters to watch the Ospreys at home following the team’s positive 23/24 season, in which the team won their first knockout European game and made the BKT URC playoffs. With the team’s rising stars and new signings all in line to feature, the event offers a great taster for supporters ahead of the 24/25 season.
Origin Series tickets are included as part of Season Memberships and seating will be available on a first come first serve basis, so make sure you move quickly to secure the best seats in the house.
As the West Stand will be the only open stand, Season Members in the West Stand will have their usual seats available but any Members with a ticket outside of the West Stand will be able to select their chosen seating in the stand.
