The Ospreys are proud to announce the signing of flanker Jac Morgan on a two-year deal.
Morgan, 21, captained the Wales U20s during the 2020 U20s Six Nations campaign and can play across the backrow.
The Wales U20s and U18s international has proved himself as one of the best young players in the northern hemisphere and has earned a reputation as turn-over specialist for all the sides he has played for.
The all-action backrower, who is widely regarded as one of the hottest properties in Welsh rugby, will leave the Scarlets and join the Ospreys in the summer.
Morgan was expected to captain his country at the World Rugby U20s Championship in Italy last summer but the tournament was called off due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Jac Morgan, said:
“I am excited to be joining the Ospreys as I believe that it is the right place and timing for me in this stage of my career which will be a new and exciting challenge.”
Toby Booth, Ospreys Head coach, said:
“There were two things that stood out when I met Jac and that was his maturity and obvious leadership skills. He is a very level headed and intelligent young man who was very clear about what he wanted to do and achieve in the game and how he wanted to go about it.
“The second thing was that he is extremely ambitious as a player and knows what he wants to work on and what he needs to do. Those attributes are exactly what we need to keep us moving forward.”
