Teams from across Ospreylia gathered at the Liberty Stadium yesterday to find out who will be playing who in the Ospreys Cup this season.
In just a couple of weeks the 2019/20 Ospreys Cup kicks off for teams from across Ospreylia. The league, which offers meaningful competition for U15s and 16s teams, runs from September and will culminate in two exciting finals days in April and May.
Coaches and players from the 48 participating teams gathered at the Liberty Stadium last night to find out who they would be facing as the groups for the four different competitions were drawn. With teams meeting old rivals and new foes, it’s set to be yet another exciting year of competition.
U15s Development Competition
Pool 1: Pencoed, Ystradgynlais, Bryncoch and Swansea Uplands.
Pool 2: Kenfig Hill, Glynneath, Gowerton and Tata.
U15s Cup Competition
Pool 1: Morriston, Porthcawl, Gorseinon and Baglan.
Pool 2: South Gower, Loughor, Cwmavon and Dunvant.
Pool 3: Tondu, Nantyffyllon, Neath Athletic and Vardre.
Pool 4: Trebanos, Bridgend Athletic, Valley Dragons and Maesteg Celtic.
U16s Development Competition
Pool 1: Pontarddulais, Bridgend Sports, Mumbles, Tondu and Nantyffyllon.
Pool 2: Dunvant, Tata, Fall Bay, Waunarlwydd and Porthcawl.
Pool 3: Kenfig Hill, Bryncoch, Pencoed and Bonymaen.
U16s Cup Competition
Pool 1: Cwmgors, Abercrave, Loughor, Cwmavon and Bridgend Athletic.
Pool 2: South Gower, Swansea Uplands, Pontrhydyfen, Trebanos and Morriston.
