An Ospreys squad took part in a managed training game of two twenty minute periods against Swansea RFC at St Helens on Friday evening.
Arranged at short notice to give a valuable run-out together for players likely to be involved in the forthcoming LV= Cup and Magners League games during the Six Nations period, it was a worthwhile exercise with a number of players impressing.
Tries in the first period from Andy Lloyd, Gareth Owen and Tom Prydie, all converted by Owen put the Ospreys XV in the driving seat, before the All Whites hit back after the interval with tries from Chris Sherlmerdine and Lee May, converted by Dixon, the game finishing 21-14 to the Ospreys.
Ospreys Rugby are grateful to Swansea RFC for their assistance in putting this session together, and for their hospitality on the evening.
