The annual Ospreys Coaching Conference will this year take place on Sunday 31st July, and the invitation is again extended to coaches in the region, and also, following the success of the 2010 event, to referees.
It will be a great opportunity for coaches to gain a greater understanding of the role of the referee and how this can be of significant benefit to coaching. Equally, referees can learn more about the aims and methods of coaches. This approach can only be advantageous to the game as a whole.
Presentations will be made by Ospreys Chief Operations Officer Andrew Hore, Director of Coaching Scott Johnson, and coaches Sean Holley, Jonathan Humphreys and Mark Bennett.
Sean Holley will be conducting an interactive Coaching Workshop, so if you have any issues or topics you would like debated, please let us know and we will cover as many topics as possible.
The refereeing module will be delivered by National Match Official Performance and Development Officer, Nigel Whitehouse.
The Conference, which takes place Sunday 31st July at 9.00 a.m. is restricted to UKCC Level 2 coaches and above. Admission will again be only £20 per head to include a light snack lunch and places are STRICTLY limited. Demand will be high so coaches are requested to please complete the attached application form and return with your cheque as soon as possible.
Referees should make application to James Jones or Huw David.
