A huge bonus point win at home against the Emirates Lions keeps us in contention for the URC knockouts.
Today we've had a helping hand with our match report from Caitlin, age 11.
The first couple of minutes began with a kicking exchange, with Ospreys edging the battle in the early stages.
TRY FOR OSPREYS! The Ospreys put the pressure on early and some powerful carrying from the pack was eventually finished by Tom Botha. Conversion missed, 5-0.
Caitlin says: The Ospreys were the first ones to put a score on the board! It was Tom Botha!
The early stages were full of some monstrous carries and hits, with both teams fronting up on physically.
With 15 minutes played the Ospreys discipline was holding strong as they found themselves on the right side of the scoreline.
Caitlin says: The Lions tried to score but the Ospreys done there best defending and they stopped them
TRY FOR OSPREYS! Reuben Morgan-Williams broke through superbly and who was there to support him? MR.150, SAM PARRY WITH THE BURNERS. Not many front rowers can support their scrum half like that. Owen Williams converts, 12-0 Ospreys.
Caitlin says: The ospreys scored again! The try was by Sam Parry and it was really good. The Ospreys kicked it and then they scored.
Lions were the next team to put the pressure on. An extended spell of possession near the Ospreys 22 was eventually unfruitful as Sam Parry turned the ball over tenaciously to allow the Ospreys to clear their lines.
The next few minutes were mostly played in the middle of the park with possession changing hands on a few occasions.
With eight minutes left in the first half, the Ospreys went down to 14 after a sin bin for playing the 9.
Caitlin says: The Ospreys were doing there best! They were tackling really good and they were kicking really good.
With five minutes left in the half, the Lions entered the Ospreys 22 again and this time were able to come away with the score through PJ Botha. Hendrikse converted, 12-7 Ospreys.
On the stroke of half time, Owen Williams slotted through a penalty to take it back to a two score game.
HALFTIME - OSPREYS 15, LIONS 7.
The Ospreys came out with a spring in their step in the second half, Luke Morgan was brought down inches before the try line after weaving through Lions defenders.
Caitlin says: The Ospreys almost scored but they got tackled right before they could do the try.
Lions were next to have a man sent to have man sent to the bin, as a tip tackle on Tips saw Morgan Naude get a yellow.
TRY FOR THE OSPREYS! Near the line, Morgan Morris threw a deceptive dummy that deceived the Lions defence and allowed him to go over for an easy score. Owen Williams converted, 22-7.
Caitlin says: Morgan Morris scored a try! Ospreys played really well and scored.
The Ospreys built on their early first half score, controlling a majority of possession and dominating the battle for territory.
TRY FOR OSPREYS! Lew Lloyd marshalled the maul superbly well as the Ospreys scored a huge bonus point try in their hunt for the playoffs. Owen Williams converted a tough kick form out wide, 29-7 Ospreys.
Caitlin says: The score now is 29-7 to Ospreys! The last try was a bonus point .
With under 20 minutes to go, the Lions ventured into the Ospreys 22 but were unable to break down the Ospreys defence once again as the boys were able to hold the ball up.
The Lions did manage to score next though, a break through was finished by Quan Horn. Try converted, 29-14.
Lions had a try disallowed by the TMO, but immediately hit back in the corner to score a third and pile the pressure on the Ospreys in the last ten. 29 - 21, Ospreys.
Caitlin says: The Lions scored again, even though the Ospreys did their best to defend.
Ospreys turned up the pressure and won a penalty, but the ball bounced off the sticks and the score remained the same. Then a huge turnover brought a second penalty, which went deep in the corner.
TRY FOR OSPREYS! Keiran Williams brought a picture perfect finish to cross the line in the final minute and cap off a huge performance from your Ospreys team.
Caitlin says: THE LAST TRY OF THE MATCH! At the last couple of minutes Keiran Williams scored a try. Then Jack Walsh kicked the ball and scored to finish 36-21.
FINAL SCORE - OSPREYS 36, LIONS 21.
