Hytro, the leaders in Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) wearables designed specifically to improve sports performance, has been chosen as a partner of Ospreys regional rugby franchise for the 2022-23 season.
As Ospreys enter another physically demanding year, players across the men’s first team will use Hytro wearables for their scientifically proven results in significantly accelerating recovery and improving muscle development and endurance.
Being drawn to the benefits of BFR and the convenience that Hytro wearables bring to team scenarios, Simon Church, Head of Physical Performance at Ospreys said of the announcement: "We are pleased to welcome Hytro to the Ospreys performance departments. We will be implementing the range into our recovery menu for all players to utilise post game and throughout our return to play programme."
Dr Warren Bradley, Founder and Head of Elite Performance at Hytro commented: “Ospreys have a rich history as an elite performing club. By integrating BFR into their workouts and recovery, players will be able to reap the benefits of improving strength while returning to peak condition in rapid time. We look forward to working with Simon and his team to bring them what we believe to be the best S&C tool for maximising athletic potential.”
The news of Ospreys joining follows various announcements from Hytro across multiple sports with teams and athletes being offered simple and practical solutions with Active and Passive BFR.
