“The Ospreys were proud to play our role in the bid to combat Covid-19 by vacating our training base at Llandarcy, in conjunction with our landlord Neath and Port Talbot College, to NHS Wales to become a field hospital.
“Our staff and players have taken pay cuts, the business has lost an estimated £2m so far in this financial year and we have had to take a loan out to stay in business during the pandemic.
“We have done everything within our control, but now we are asking for the Welsh government to support us with a viable and detailed roadmap for the return of crowds, as in England, and a financial package to help us navigate the tough challenges ahead."
Andrew Millward, Ospreys Rugby Managing Director.
