Head Coach, Lyn Jones, commented as follows:
"It was great to welcome back our remaining internationals this week and it has been a pleasure to have them back in the regional environment. They have had a mentally bruising Rugby World Cup but they have been revived by a short break and are raring to go. The hard work now starts in earnest on Sunday against a strong Munster side and we are looking to quickly get back to where we were last season."
"It takes time to build a team but we are confident that on Sunday we will take another step towards our aim of challenging for success in all three of the competitions in which we will participate this season. The next two weeks will give an opportunity for the players who have represented Ospreys Rugby at the start of the season to recover from early season bruises and complete pre-season conditioning and injury rehabilitation programmes, which were for many of them disrupted or curtailed before it was fully completed."
"It has been evident in our early fixtures that teams are trying to strangle our ambition to play positive rugby. We have great respect for Munster and hope they will come to the Liberty with an intent to play rugby and we should then see a game worthy of the Magners League."
