Comment from Head Coach, Lyn Jones:

“There were a lot of positives to take from last weekend’s game, but that was then and we must now look ahead to fixture against a Bath side who will give us an altogether different challenge.  Just because we enjoyed a comfortable win last week we cannot expect just to turn up and expect to win.”

“This week’s preparations have been hugely disrupted due to Wales squad training commitments.  As a result we have brought in a lot of new players, but we have a strong squad and we are confident that the players we have drafted in are more than capable of performing at this level.”

“Bath are a proud team with a strong forward pack and they have always offered a very physical approach to the game of rugby union.  They are unbeaten at home this year with notable victories over Leicester and Worcester in the Guinness Premiership, and although they are finding things much more difficult on the road they are clearly still a confident side at the Rec.  Bath are still in this competition after picking up a bonus point against Bristol and are a well supported side at home.  They will enjoy the benefit of what will be an intimidating environment and we are hugely looking forward to the challenge ahead.”
