The Ospreys are thrilled to announce a new partnership with Visit Swansea Bay, who will be the official front-of-shirt sponsor of the Ospreys’ European jersey for the 24/25 season.
This exciting collaboration highlights the commitment of both the Ospreys and Visit Swansea Bay to promote the vibrant culture and stunning landscapes of Swansea to a broader audience.
The partnership will see the Ospreys proudly display the Visit Swansea Bay logo on the front of their European jerseys as they embark on their EPCR Challenge Cup campaign across the continent and beyond.
Working in tandem, both organisations aim to showcase the extraordinary experiences that all of Swansea has to offer, from its stunning coastal views to its rich heritage and dynamic cultural scene, to rugby fans and potential visitors from across Europe.
Lance Bradley, Ospreys' CEO, said: "We are delighted to have Visit Swansea Bay as our front-of-shirt sponsor for this EPCR season. Drawing parallels with the design, our jerseys will carry more than just our team emblem; they will symbolise the spirit and beauty of Swansea Bay.
“It’s fantastic to partner with the likes of Visit Swansea Bay as we prepare for our future move to our new home, St Helen’s Sports Ground.”
It’s important for us to showcase Swansea’s charm to not only the UK, but each corner of Europe, and encourage all supporters to experience it first-hand."
Swansea Council Leader, Councillor Rob Stewart said: “This marketing partnership with the Ospreys is a wonderful opportunity to bring together two iconic elements of our region: a team that represents the passion and pride of Swansea Bay and a destination that offers so much to visitors and residents alike.
"To see the Swansea Bay brand on the front of the Ospreys’ jerseys during the EPCR championship matches is a proud moment, and we are delighted to support the team as they compete on the international stage. This collaboration not only celebrates our local identity but also amplifies our global reach, showcasing beautiful Swansea Bay and over 250 of our tourism businesses to rugby fans worldwide."
This partnership not only emphasises the united spirit of Swansea but also marks a significant stride in elevating the city’s profile across the UK, Europe and South Africa, inviting everyone to explore.
