The new Ospreys training jersey, with its funky pink design, has gone down a storm with fans since making its first public appearance ahead of the pre-season friendly against Leeds Carnegie, and now they can get their hands on it for the first time as it goes on sale this weekend.
The Kooga training shirt, as worn by the squad as they are put through their paces daily at the Ospreys’ Llandarcy HQ, is available as a strictly limited edition, with just 500 going on sale at the Ospreys Superstore on Saturday morning, priced at £39.95 for juniors and £49.95 for adults.
Stylish yet hard wearing, the shirt is certain to prove popular in the run up to Christmas, given the feedback to the shirt already received by the Ospreys over the last few months, which has included considerable demand to make the shirt available for sale.
Ospreys Managing Director, Roger Blyth, said:
“The demand from our supporters for us to release this shirt for sale has been overwhelming. Ever since the players were first spotted in pre-season wearing it, fans have been asking when they will be able to buy one, so we have responded to the demand and released the shirt as a special limited edition.
“Once again, I think that Kooga have really hit the mark with a design that is both functional and attractive, and I’ve no doubt that this training top will go down as another Ospreys classic!”
Season ticket holders and members are reminded that they can claim their 10 per cent discount when purchasing the training shirt by producing their discount key fob at time of purchase.
The Ospreys Superstore is open between 9am and 3pm on Saturday, Sunday 10am-4pm and between 10am and 5pm Monday-Friday. With a Swansea City home match on Saturday, supporters should be aware that the Superstore is expected to be busy from noon onwards on Saturday.
