Speaking ahead of the games, head coach for the U16s West Tom Snelgrove said:
“It's great to be back and get Block 2 under way. The players and the management staff are excited about playing at regional age-grade level again. After a tough start to the first block, the team showed up well and worked hard in gaining two exciting wins against the Scarlets and Dragons.
“The management team have been really impressed with both how players have progressed from the first block and players who didn’t originally get selected have gone away and worked hard to gain selection.
“The players are aware they face a tough challenge against a very good Blues team, but we are confident that the players will put up a good display and show the skills they have developed over the year.”
