Having won the under 18 final 10 days ago, the Ospreys have an opportunity to improve their lead at the top of the WRU Reebok Regional under 16 Championship when they take on the Blues South at Corus, tonight, 7.15pm.
The table-toppers kicked off their season with a resounding 17-5 victory over the same opposition and have followed up with significant victories over Blues North and, last time out, the Scarlets.
However, their one defeat, against the Dragons in October, has left the race for the final wide open with four of the five regional sides having already registered at least one win.
Dai Arthur, high performance manager for the Dragons said, "We have been delighted with the manner in which the three sides have played this season and with the under 18s having won the title 10 days ago, it would be good to see the other teams follow their lead.
"The five teams seemed to be pretty well matched at, so the boys understand that this game will be as tough as the others have been."In the other game, the Scarlets take on the Dragons at Llandovery, with the visitors looking to maintain the pressure on the Ospreys with a third win in four games.
The pick of their results came at Newbridge when they turned over the Ospreys 13-12. Another win tonight will certainly put them in with a decent chance of reaching a first final.
