Young Ospreys defeated 7-15 by Blues South at Taffs Well
On a crisp winter evening at Taffs Well the Blues South took an early lead through a Rhys Patchell penalty but within minutes the Ospreys struck back with a well worked try for wing Nathan Brooks converted by outside half Will Thomas to 7-3 ,a lead they held until a try by scrum half JB Bruziller gave the home team a 7-8 lead at half time. The Ospreys began the second half without flanker Alex Evans who suffered a neck injury and was taken to hospital for precautionery measures and soon suffered further injuries to flanker Curtis Williams and centre Matthew Vaughan resulting in the Ospreys playing the final minutes of the game with 14 men having had made all their substitutions. The only ponts of the second half were scored by the Blues South through a Matthew Roberts try converted by Patchell to move them to the top of the table .
