The team to play RGC tomorrow at St Helens, kick off 2pm, has been announced
The Eyasses are back in action tomorrow and they start theirseason with a home game, at new base St Helens, against RGC's Under 18's side.
Following training over the summer, and two winning pre season games against the Northampton Saints and Worcester Warriors age grade teams, the young players have been back in action with their respective clubs and colleges throughout September and October.
The Eyasses management team has been closely following the young players progress over the last couple of months, and now that the Wednesday Under 18 League takes a break and makes way for the Regional Age Grade competition, they announce their first team of the 2014/15 season.
Steff James, the Eyasses new Head Coach, commented on the selection and upcoming fixture:
"We were extremely pleased with the way the development team trained and played over the summer, getting the results against the academy set up's from Saints and Warriors was really impressive and showed us the determination that this young group of lads have.
"We have always said that no team was set in stone and we've been watching the players in the college league and some have really stepped up to the plate and impressed us with the way they have been performing.
"They're an exciting group of youngsters to be working with and have been training hard in the lead up to the game. Last year the boys narrowly lost when they played RGC so hopefully we can get the win this year and get our season off to a great start."
