The Ospreys have teamed up with Pembrokeshire-based Princes Gate Spring Water.
The new partnership sees Princes Gate Spring Water receive Official Supplier status from the Ospreys, and will see the company providing the region’s bottled water needs at both their Llandarcy Academy of Sport training HQ and the Liberty Stadium, in addition to supporting the side’s work in the community in promoting the importance of an active lifestyle and continual hydration amongst schoolchildren.
The successful bottled water manufacturer, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, already sponsors the Welsh Rugby Union.
Of the latest addition to the sponsorship portfolio, Princes Gate Marketing Manager, Nicola Merriman, comments;
‘We’re once again delighted to announce our official partnership. We have always maintained that our affiliation with rugby reaffirms our brand’s commitment to supporting and promoting Welsh cultural initiatives. It’s what sets us apart from our competitors: Princes Gate is one of the few indigenous Welsh brands of bottled water left on the market, and to that end, it is of immense importance that we support all things Welsh – and what better way than on the rugby pitch?’
Roger Blyth, Ospreys Managing Director, added:
“It gives us great pleasure to be able to confirm the appointment of Princes Gate as our official supplier. As a successful indigenous Welsh business that is leading the way in its field and has a real passion for rugby, we are delighted to be associated with them. Hopefully, this will be the start of a long and productive relationship between the two organisations.”
