Ryan Conbeer is Back in Black

Ryan Conbeer signs new deal with Ospreys

The Ospreys announced today that Ryan Conbeer had signed a new deal to remain with the team.

Conbeer, a clinical finisher, joined the Ospreys during the 24/25 season and made an instant impact, getting on the scoresheet three times in his first five appearances for the team.

The winger was plying his trade for the Scarlets before he joined the Ospreys, scoring 28 tries in 72 appearances for the West Wales based outfit. Conbeer has also represented Wales u20s on 23 separate occasions.

Speaking on his new deal, Conbeer said: “I’m excited to be continuing my career with the Ospreys. I’ve really enjoyed the start to my time here, there’s a great bunch of boys at the club that instantly made me feel welcome.

“It was disappointing to pick up an injury when I did, but I’m looking forward to stepping back out onto the pitch and bringing everything I can to this team.

Head Coach, Mark Jones, said: “We were really impressed with how quickly Ryan hit the ground running with us. For him to have been with another team for so long and instantly adapt to a new setup the way he did, is nothing short of impressive.

“Ryan often gets the plaudits for what he offers on the ball, which is deserved, but he’s also made some real improvements from a defensive standpoint since he’s been here. It’s good to see him coming back from injury and I know he’s chomping at the bit to get back out there for us.”

Ryan will be weaving his way down the wings of St Helen’s next season, you won’t want to miss it.
