Dmitri Arhip is set for a prolonged spell on the sidelines after dislocating his shoulder during last Friday’s win in Grenoble.
He should undergo surgery next week, after which it is anticipated that he will be out of action for a period of around four to five months.
Chris Towers, Medical Performance Manager, said:
“Since returning from France at the weekend Dmitri has had scans which have been reviewed with a shoulder specialist at Spire. Following discussions the decision was that Dmitri requires surgery, which we hope will take place next week.
“At this early stage we are looking at him being unavailable for a period of four to five months.”
