The Ospreys have named an exciting 12-man squad for the Welsh leg of the Singha Premiership 7s at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park on Friday evening.
Current Wales 7s internationals Morgan Williams provides the specialist expertise alongside Dafydd Howells, capped in both the seven and fifteen man versions of the game, with experienced full Wales cap, Jonathan Spratt also named.
Williams has featured in both previous years of the Welsh leg of this competition, along with Wales U20 cap, Joe Gage, who also returns to Cardiff on Friday night.
Steff Andrews will feature in his second Premiership 7s for the Ospreys, having featured in 2014, and his third in total having previously represented Leicester Tigers, while age-grade internationals Phil Jones, who played last year, Will Jones and James Ratti are included.
Flying winger Jay Baker, last season’s Principality Premiership Newcomer of the Year with Aberavon will enjoy his first outing in an Ospreys shirt after signing for the region this summer, while Bridgend’s Joseph Scrivens, who played in last year’s event, and Tom O’Flaherty are also set for action alongside David Evans of Aberavon.
The team is being coached by Tom Smith and Richard Fussell.
